Baltimore wedding photographer captures bride and groom dancing under the George Peabody Library staircase on a black and white marble floor.

As Madison and Gabriel’s Baltimore wedding photographer at the George Peabody Library, I had the joy of capturing a celebration that was as elegant as it was deeply personal. It was my first wedding in the city, and it was an unforgettable introduction. I usually find myself photographing weddings across Scotland and Europe, but this time I travelled across the Atlantic to capture a celebration in one of the most breathtaking libraries in the world. As a cinematic wedding photographer with an international portfolio, it was a privilege to create cinematic work in a venue that feels like it was built for romance and grandeur.

Just like many of the couples I work with, Madison and Gabriel wanted a wedding that reflected not only their love story but also their personalities. We had already shared time together in Scotland for their engagement session, so flying over to Baltimore felt like a continuation of a journey we had already started. The day itself was filled with the kind of details that elevate a wedding from beautiful to unforgettable: florals cascading through the space, cocktails named after their beloved cats, music that kept the atmosphere alive, and of course, the books towering around us in the historic Peabody Library.

The morning began at the stylish Revival Hotel, only a short walk from the venue. It was there, surrounded by the buzz of anticipation, that Madison and Gabriel got ready for their day. From the hotel, we moved across the city streets to Mount Vernon, where the cathedral framed the background of their portraits and the park brought an intimate sense of balance to the architecture and history.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was their private vow reading and first look on the grand staircase of the Peabody Library. It’s a space that feels suspended in time, and as they stood together, surrounded by rows of antique books and ornate ironwork, it was clear they had chosen a setting that perfectly mirrored their story: elegant, timeless, and deeply personal.

The ceremony and reception followed in the same venue, with the library’s soaring architecture creating a cinematic backdrop for everything from their exchange of vows to the late-night dancing. Guests mingled beneath the towering shelves, cocktails in hand, music filling the air, laughter carrying through the halls. It was high-end luxury without ever feeling overdone. A wedding that felt both grand and relaxed, exactly as Madison and Gabriel intended.

I hope you enjoy looking through some selected images form Madison and Gabriel’s Baltimore wedding at the George Peabody Library. Being trusted to travel internationally and capture such meaningful celebrations is something I’ll never take for granted.
