Last year, when Shaun shared her plans to elope amid Scotland’s breathtaking vistas, I was astounded by her selection of Elgin Cathedral as the venue. Imagine this venerable gem, steeped in centuries of captivating lore and tumultuous histories! Without hesitation, I embraced the invitation, captivated by the allure of the adventure, swept away like a narrative woven by the windswept Highlands themselves.

As we delved deeper into Shaun’s vision for her special day, I uncovered a few intriguing details. Firstly, she envisioned a luxurious cottagecore ambiance—where plush comfort meets rustic charm. And as fellow enthusiasts of Outlander, it was only natural that we embraced the essence of Claire Fraser. Moreover, Shaun’s affinity for plants and verdant beauty added another layer of depth to her plans.

Fast forward to the 11th of May, when we arrived at the Mansion House to finally meet Shaun and her entourage in person. Every element Shaun described was present in abundance, complemented by a delightful touch of mystical allure. Tarot cards, sacred oils, and an atmosphere charged with feminine mystique enveloped us like a gentle enchantment. As a practitioner of pagan traditions myself, I felt a profound connection, as if fate had orchestrated our gathering.

Throughout the wedding photography session, we infused each shot with the essence of practical magic. Capturing the mystical and enchanting ceremony was a true honour, where it became evident that destiny had guided our paths to intertwine.

Shaun and Zack radiate a rare, beautiful kindness, and I feel immensely privileged to have played a part in their journey. Truly, it was a blessed occasion, where magic and love intertwined seamlessly.
